At 7:00 p.m. on July 14, Beijing time, more than 50 student representatives and teachers from 23 countries around the world attended the closing ceremony of the 2023 SOU “Immersion Hub” program. Dr. WENG Zhuhua, Dean of the Institute of International Exchange, warmly congratulated the students who had obtained the completion certificate of the program, and welcomed them to SOU to experience Chinese culture and learn Chinese language next year, enhance mutual understanding and spread Chinese stories.

At the closing ceremony, the students presented their learning achievements and expressed a strong interest in learning Chinese language and culture. At the same time, the students also thanked SOU for providing them with the opportunity to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture.

At last, teachers and students took a group photo to cherish each other's memory and agreed to meet at SOU next year.

The SOU “Immersion Hub” Short-term Course Program for the international students began in 2013. This year, more than128 students from 23 countries have signed up for the online program. Up to now, more than 600 students from over 30 countries and regions have participated in SOU “Immersion Hub” Program.
