The fifth session of Immersion Hub Short Term International Student Program was officially started on the morning of June 12 at Shanghai Open University. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice President ZHANG Jin expressed a warm welcome to all international students, hoping that 25 students from 8 countries could learn from the two-week program and experience the Chinese culture by themselves.
The 2017 Overseas Chinese youth “China Roots Trip” Spring Camp sponsored by Overseas Chinese affairs office of the State Council and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government begun on April 20 in Shanghai. The theme of the 10-day spring camp is ‘the Belt and Road Initiatives’. “Immersion Hub”, a short term Chinese language program organized by Shanghai Open University (SOU) wrapped up on the morning of September 11 at Institute of International Exchange. The participants include 15 students and teachers from UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Brazil, Indonesia, Siri Lanka and HKSAR.
